We’ve been mostly focused on off-grid solar installs, but we also do grid-tied from time to time as well. We’re pleased to announce, that we just successfully completed the paperwork for our first customer to receive $10 000 back through the Home Renovation Savings Program. The cheque is in the mail!
You can find out more about the program here:

Or better yet, just send us an email and we can provide more details:

After adding a chipper late last season, it quickly became apparent that we would want a small dump truck to go alongside that. Enter “The Re-Fuso”.
A perfectly-sized little truck to get into tight spaces and out again hauling a big load!
We’re already looking forward to getting back to work with all your tree maintenance needs in 2026!

After seeing the massive piles of brush that we have been leaving for our customers to burn in the off season, or us piling it high on our trailer, we knew that it was only a matter of time before a chipper joined our fleet. Having acreage ourselves and seeing first hand how much work maintaining the land can be, a chipper was a logical next step for us.
So meet our newest member to the team: Chippy-Norten!

She’s a 7″ chipper that gets the job done! She’s loud, hungry, and ready for action! We have been busy on Manitoulin Island, Cutler Lake, Birch Island and Whitefish River clearing lots for new builds and cleaning up after large removals.
We are currently booking two week in advance so don’t delay! Give us a call for your free consultation and quote today!
After gaining three years of professional experience working in the field, plus our commitment to research and continued dedication to improvement has paid off with recognition from the International Society of Arboriculture!
Professional recognition is not required in Ontario, but hiring a certified arborist helps ensure you’re hiring a dedicated and qualified professional. I’m happy to now be recognized by the ISA!

We haven’t posted much this summer, but we certainly have been busy! We’ve gone to remote islands in the Bay of Islands, toured the inner lakes of Algoma and even done a few jobs in town! We are heading north to Dalton next week to install a solar system for a new remote camp and will be setting up two other systems locally shortly after. We are booked up for August but are still available in September through November.
If you’re looking to have a solar system designed or trees looked at don’t hesitate to give us a ring!

If you’ve racked your panels on a tilt-able pole mount, then don’t forget to point them skyward to take advantage of the higher spring and summer sun!

This one was a little different! This big pine tree was partially uprooted and being held up by adjacent trees. We added additional bracing before starting to climb. By the time we reached the top the tree was nearly horizontal!
If you have any unusual or hazardous trees you need taken down safely and efficiently, give us a call!
